This wonderful piece is by well known artist Godfrey Kututwa, one of my all time favorite artists from Zimbabwe. Godfrey is a deaf mute who has not let his lack of hearing/speech impede him in life. We communicate easily and often with the assistance of a friend of his, but as you can see from the pictures his sense of humor and joy in life is plain to see. The piece is sculpted in Springstone and measures 14″ tall x 11″ wide x 6″ deep.
